Asahi UK has brought zero tailpipe delivery to its London operations by welcoming a Volvo FE Electric 4x2 rigid into its distribution fleet.

ASAHI UK has taken delivery of its first electric brewery dray truck, welcoming a Volvo FE Electric 4x2 rigid into its London delivery fleet, operating from Fuller’s long-standing Griffin Brewery.
Asahi UK sustainability manager Sam Goodenough, says: “This marks a significant milestone in our journey towards our goal of Net Zero across our whole value chain by 2040.
“Our FE Electric will be one of the first of its kind to enter London, demonstrating the potential of electric drays to create quieter streets, support the city’s clean air initiatives and build a more sustainable future for the communities we serve. Working with Volvo on this project helps us to ensure we can continue to deliver our premium products to London’s pubs in a way that supports both our business and the planet.”
