Protection from static electricity

Available in five different sizes, the new RL-KLT ESD boxes offer a storage and transport solution for electronic and automotive parts.

When two electrically charged objects come into contact with each other, static electricity is discharged.

Goplasticpallets.com’s new containers are moulded from premium-grade polypropylene copolymer electrostatic discharge (PP ESD) and help to protect sensitive devices from static discharge during handling, storage and shipping.

The containers’ properties control the surface resistance and volume resistivity which minimises the build-up of static and discharge that would otherwise be created by friction between the product and container.

The biggest box in the range measures 600 x 400 x 280, weighs 2.95kg and holds an impressive 51.9 litres, where the smallest box measures 300 x 200 x 147, holds 5.3 litres, and weighs just 630 grams.

The largest containers can safely stack at 7 units and the smallest containers are able to stack at 12 units high.

The containers come in black as standard with water drainage holes in the base. The ESD protective logo is printed in yellow on two sides of the containers. They also come with ‘drop in’ label holders to allow for the labelling of different components. For added security, lids are available as an option and for large quantities there are a number of personalisation options.

And, at the end of their long working life, Goplasticpallets.com promises to collect back and recycle all of the plastic boxes and containers it supplies through its plastic pallet recycling scheme.
