Hampshire warehouse set for refurbishment

A warehouse in Petersfield east Hampshire is set to be refurbished to provide a Grade A facility for occupiers looking to serve London and the south coast.

THE PROPERTY has been bought by Prime Box, in a Joint Venture with Cedar Invest, with the intention of refurbishing the facility to provide 80,000 ft2 of refurbished and modernised logistics warehouse space.
Prime Box Director Richard Lord, said: “Once complete the property will benefit from new M&E, a large (60m depth) yard, new CAT A offices with modern M&E. The building will be PV ready and will be targeting an EPC A rating.”
The self contained warehouse will boast 12 dock and two level access doors a 65m yard with 360 degree HGV circulation as well as a 590KvA power supply the roof will be PV ready and there are 6 EV charging bays in the car park.
It was acquired from Vestey Holdings earlier this year. SHW advised Prime Box and Cedar Invest on the acquisition, with Avison Young acting for Vestey Holdings.
Refurbishment works will start in May 2024, led by Faircloth Construction, with Total Project Integration as Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor. The completed unit will be ready for occupation in Q4 2024.
SHW and Avison Young will be letting agents for the new logistics space.
