Jungheinrich to continue ISM Online alongside ID Systems deal

Fleet management software provider ID Systems recently announced a multi-year fleet management system agreement covering several thousand units with forklift manufacturer Jungheinrich.

Jungheinrich will use I.D. Systems’ PowerFleet technologies to track and manage forklift fleets for their customers. This telemetry technology partnership aims to provide Jungheinrich customers with an enhanced ability to reduce overhead costs, improve safety and compliance, and streamline operations.

A Jungheinrich spokesperson said: “Our customers will be able to use the modules they know in the future. With I.D. Systems, however, we are expanding the digital product portfolio to include a comprehensive fleet management system with features that ISM Online could not offer. This cooperation combines Jungheinrich’s expertise in intralogistics with a tried and tested, comprehensive, and manufacturer-independent fleet management system.”
