Royal London Asset Management Property has secured detailed planning approval for the redevelopment of Atlantic Park - an 800,000 ft2 highly specified industrial and logistics development in Sefton, north of Liverpool.

THE SCHEME, on the 50-acre former Rolls Royce site, will comprise seven units ranging from 43,000 ft2 to 210,000 ft2.
Atlantic Park is targeting a ‘BREEAM Excellent’ and EPC A rating and will be developed to a high specification, featuring EV charge points in all buildings, solar panels, LED fittings, with daylight and occupancy control in office units, and sustainable urban drainage systems for effective stormwater management.
Atlantic Park, is located within the City Region’s Freeport and is situated just two miles from Liverpool 2 deep-water container terminal, on the intersection of the M57/M58 motorways, serves as a crucial hub in global supply chains. With 35 million consumers residing within a 150-mile radius, it offers unparalleled access to key markets in the UK and Ireland.
Royal London acquired the leasehold of the Atlantic Park site in 2003. Unfortunatley the global recession of 2006 put pay to the redevelopment of the site at that time.
