THE LATEST development completion sees the release of three units MPS 9, MPS 10 and MPS 11 which are 388,872, 136,000, and 119,000 ft2 respectively, onto the market and marks the end of a five-year period of activity, which has seen GLP speculatively develop 2.9 million ft2 across eleven buildings over three phases.

The first phase units (MPS 1, 2, 3 & 4) were successfully leased to Amazon, Whistl, Movianto and JD.com, a while a second pahse totaling 1 million ft2 saw energy supplier Centrica take 460,000 ft2 in two units for a new national training centre and logistics hub, and Unipart, to expand its business operations at Magna Park South.

The new buildings have already achieved BREEAM Excellent ratings, while the 388,872 ft2 MPS 9 unit its looking to achieve an Outstanding rating. Achieving this top rating would make MPS 9 the third of GLP’s buildings to gain this accreditation in the UK.

The property has 15m eaves, a 50 m deep yard, 36 dock and four level access doors as well as parking for 130 HGVs and 290 cars on a self contained 17.22 acre site.

Joint letting agents are DTRE and Cushman & Wakefield.

Magna Park Lutterworth stretches over 1,400 acres including a 200-acre country park due to complete this month, housing over 13 million ft2 of warehouse space in 49 buildings. It is the UK’s and Europe’s largest dedicated logistics and distribution park.
