Medical research manufacturer takes new UK HQ and warehouse space

Global medical and scientific research products manufacturer Greiner Bio-One is moving to a new multi-million-pound office and warehouse facility in Stonehouse, near Stroud.

THE COMPANY has taken a 53,500 ft2 facility at developer Robert Hitchins’ 75,500 ft2 Stroudwater 13 Business Park, doublingits capacity in the UK and allowing for growth.
Greiner Bio-One is relocating from nearby Stroudwater Business Park where it has been operating since 1996. Construction on the new facility began in January and has now reached practical completion.
Greiner Bio-One Managing director Shabir Ahmed said: "We are absolutely delighted to have the keys to our new UK facility. It means that we can start the next phase of delivering a site that will accommodate future growth and development of Greiner Bio-One in the UK and enable us to serve the needs of our varied customers for many years to come."
Robert Hitchins has also achieved practical completion of another industrial unit alongside the Greiner Bio-One site at Stroudwater 13.
A further unit of 22,000 ft2 has also been completed and is available to let. It has 8m eaves, two level access doors, 37.5kn/m2 floor loading and EPC B rating and 10% office content. Contractor for both units was Barnwood. Joint letting agents are Alder King and Cushman & Wakefield.
