Micro hub opens in Cambridge

THREE ELECTRIC-assisted quadracycles known as eQuads will be stationed at the hub, offering zero-emissions urban deliveries to residential and commercial properties.

The eQuads will support with final mile deliveries on routes previously led by two diesel vans and can use cycle lanes and dual-use pedestrianised zones. This ensures access to areas where cars and other vehicles are restricted.

This hub-and-cycle solution will also advance Cambridge’s Clean Air initiative, to reduce emissions in the city centre by using greener methods for the delivery of goods.
