New spec team for Promat

28 May 2024

Passive fire protection specialist Promat has appointed a new commercial director, and a new national specification manager.

Joshua Slack, commercial director at Promat - part of the Etex group

JOSHUA SLACK has taken on the role of commercial director, having served as the company’s national specification manager for the previous three years. Promat’s former architectural specification manager Harvey Brown has been appointed as the company’s new national specification manager.

Josh said: “Promat is dedicated to providing the highest levels of support throughout the specification process to ensure that passive fire protection systems are correctly specified – and will meet the required safety standards.

“This is a time of change for the passive fire protection industry with the recent introduction of the Building Safety Act – and the need for early specification is key. The specification team at Promat is heavily invested in offering the support needed to raise standards for life critical products, and to support the drive to ensure greater compliance and safer buildings.”

Josh will speak on the Warehouse Property discussion panel at Tomorrow’s Warehouse Coventry on 20 June.
