Norfolk 3PL opens Swaffham site

Norfolk logistics firm GE-BE Transport, a Palletways member has opened a new £5 million HQ in Swaffham, Norfolk.

The state-of-the-art facility which extends to 435,600 ft2 can accommodate the company 70 vehicle fleet and houses over 100 employees with new modern office and sales facilities. The new facility also boasts warehousing, pick and pack and undercover docking areas. The facility will move in excess of 1,000 pallets a day and store more than 2,000 pallets for local businesses.
Palletways UK Regional General Manager Gary Flight said: “This new facility will strengthen the Palletways network in the East of England and will allow local businesses from across Norfolk to benefit from efficient and reliable logistics that can move their goods across the UK and Europe.”
