Shell Oil Products renews contract
17 February 2021
DHL Supply Chain has been reappointed by Shell Bitumen in a new five-year contract starting on 1 March 2021.
Following a successful relationship stretching back over 30 years, the DHL team will continue to be responsible for providing loading and delivery services of bitumen to Shell’s UK customer base on a strict ‘on time in full’ basis, using a specialised fleet of temperature-controlled vehicles.
To support the new contract DHL will be replacing a proportion of the existing fleet with newer vehicles, improving miles per gallon (MPG) and as a result the environmental impact of the fleet by reducing NOx, CO2 and particulate matter emissions.
