Spaciotempo celebrates half centenary

SPACIOTEMPO UK have quite the portfolio when it comes to working alongside some of the biggest names in the world, from Aston Martin in the automotive industry to Manchester United in the sport & leisure sector. But this year the temporary and semi-permanent building specialists have their own history to champion, as the company celebrates its 50^th anniversary.

Having been part of the global events company GL events since 2006, Spaciotempo UK have solidified themselves as market leaders in the temporary building space over the course of the last half century and continue to go from strength to strength.

The company have been able to showcase their edge time and time again, demonstrating their ability to rapidly provide a full turnkey temporary building solution in a market that is notoriously short on warehouse space, or where it is no longer easy to invest in a permanent building due to rising costs. This is because they are one of only a handful of UK and Ireland supplier to manufacture and install its own buildings, with both its stock holding and in-house site teams based at its Midlands HQ ready to be quickly mobilised nationwide.

The sheer scale of end uses are as vast as they are different. Over the years, Spaciotempo UK have installed Olympic sized swimming pools complete with changing rooms, to food preparation facilities and film production studios. But two things have always remained: quality and trust. 

The aluminium frame of the flagship Neivalu building model, available in unique widths of up to 40m and 8m heights, comes complete with full structural calculations relevant to the building’s location and all components are guaranteed just as each and every building is manufactured to stand the test of time. What’s more, customers can have peace of mind that they are only ever dealing with Spaciotempo from start to finish, meaning that they accept full accountability throughout the entire process.

In fact, not many in the sector can offer the 8m eave height that Spaciotempo UK can. This unprecedented height was installed on one of their most recent projects - a 1820sqm permanent storage facility for O-I Glass, which has allowed the glassmakers to store pallets completely unobstructed right up to the apex. 

Owing to the adaptability of their semi-permanent buildings, in the planning and installation of the structure, Spaciotempo UK were also able to deliver a bespoke workaround to immovable groundworks on site. The stepped frame that was fitted around the obstacles increased the warehouse size and maximised space for the client – something that would prove much difficult for a traditional building.
