Speculative warehouse begins construction

McLaren Construction has started construction on Blackstone’s £28 million speculative warehouse building at Omega Business Park in Warrington in the Northwest.

DUE FOR completion at the end of June 2025, Omega West Unit 4 follows the successful completion of units two and three – occupied by Home Bargains and Iceland.
Omega West Unit Four is part of Miller Developments’ 77-acre Omega Business Park off Junction 8 of the M62 in Warrington. The facility will total 424,241 ft2 with two-storey offices totalling 21,364 ft2, a hub office, 42 dock and four level access doors with a 60m yard and 43 HGV and 360 car parking spaces as well as comprehensive external works and landscaping on a 22.47 acre site.
It will target a BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A rating.
