Box office now open for Swisslog Automation Tour at REWE Dortmund

Swisslog is excited to announce registration is now open for the second stop on its World Automation Tour. This time, we will be showcasing the Vectura solution implemented for REWE Dortmund at their fresh produce storage facility in Germany.
The show will kick off with a meet and greet with a Swisslog logistics consultant and on-site engineer, who will be equipped to walk attendees around the automated solution. Participants will experience automation in action from a customer’s perspective, and get questions answered in real time.

Swisslog Automation Tour 2021 welcomes automation fans from across the globe to join virtual demos of some of the company’s most legendary customer sites.
Whether the tour is hosted from Berlin, London, Barcelona, Sydney, New York or Shanghai, forward-thinking businesses can register for any or all of the available tour dates. Further customer showcases will include Trinchero in the US, Coca-Cola in Sydney as well as a sneak behind the scenes tour of one of Swisslog’s factories manufacturing the renowned Vectura crane, in Sweden.
The construction of REWE Dortmund’s logistics centre for fresh produce was one of the largest projects in its company history. Automated and semi-automated pallet technology from Swisslog works in combination with modern software to streamline material flows.
