Its mission is to help create more sustainable supply chains by providing long-lasting, reusable plastic pallets and boxes.

96% of its plastic pallets and boxes are made from 100% recycled polymers, which provides a more environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternative to timber pallets and single-use cardboard boxes.

In 2019, Goplasticpallets.com pioneered the UK pallet industry's first plastic pallet recycling scheme. Collecting back its plastic pallets and boxes at the end of their long working life means the company can recycle old products into new ones and ensures none of its products end up in landfill.

Goplasticpallets.com takes its responsibility one step further by pledging to recycle any plastic pallet or box, regardless of who supplies it.

Furthermore, Goplasticpallets.com is accredited by the Environment Agency to export and recycle plastic responsibly. Goplasticpallets.com is licensed to return plastic pallets to its manufacturing partner in Belgium so the plastic can be recycled and made into new pallets. To date, the company has recycled almost 800 tonnes – the equivalent of five blue whales.

The plastic pallet expert has been working hard to put sustainability and the planet at the core of everything it does.

Goplasticpallets.com's recycled pallets and boxes are made from post-consumer plastic and old redundant plastic pallets and boxes, which requires less energy to produce them.

The Responsible Plastic Pallet Company also works hard to limit its carbon emissions when importing and shipping its plastic pallets and boxes across the country. Ensuring its trucks are loaded to the maximum possible weight and volume means they run at their maximum efficiency. In addition, Goplasticpallets.com’s UK distribution team works closely with the pallet delivery network to greatly reduce the “part loaded” miles of trucks running to their final destination.

Looking into 2022 and beyond, Goplasticpallets.com has an even greater consideration for maintaining a circular economy with its sustainable transit packaging.

The number of plastic pallets and boxes made from recycled plastic will increase, helping the company to grow and improve its range of products, meaning an even greater range of greener logistics solutions.

It will continue to recycle plastic pallets and boxes, expecting to exceed 1,500 tonnes by 2025.
