Mike England Timber enhances speed and service
11 December 2018
Smart-Space, a leading manufacturer and installer of re-locatable, semi-permanent and permanent buildings, has completed construction of a timber processing and storage facility at Mike England Timber's headquarters near Preston, Lancashire.

The new building - a re-locatable 10-metre by 32.5-metre structure, with 40mm insulated steel-cladded walls - houses storage racking as well as the compressors, dust extraction, sanding, texturing, vacuum coating and brush coating machinery required for the company's timber coating, texturing and drying processes.
"This facility enables us to shorten our lead times and to take on more business by batch processing bespoke orders - providing customers with a more flexible, efficient and effective service, whilst maintaining high levels of quality," says managing director Jeanette Corner.
