Weetabix grabs Safer Logistics Award

THIS YEAR’S SHE Awards received a record 220+ entries and all 750 tickets to the ceremony sold out in record time. The Awards took place on 26 April 2022 at The Vox, Resorts World at NEC Birmingham.

The Safer Logistics Awards, was sponsored by Logistics Matters. Weetabix won the award, while DPD and International Workplace were highly commended for their entry and Vodafone Idea was commended. 

The Goal Zero campaign took Weetabix’s safety performance from very good to great – with a 50% reduction in Lost Time Accidents within six months. The campaign left no stone unturned including a video advent calendar; a resident contractor relating his story of a serious incident with a forklift, and a whole lot more besides. A fantastic logistics safety exemplar.
