Working in concert with automated systems

Edmolift works in close liaison with automators to provide scissor lift tables suited to the duty cycle and level of automation and loading required.

“The new HDL2000, extreme heavy-duty scissor lift has been designed specifically for automation and system integration and is a good example of our understanding and commitment to this industry sector. This is the world’s first Cat 5 standard hydraulic scissor lift and is intended to continuous and intensive applications.”

From simple load positioning to a fully automated heavy-duty line fed PLC controlled integrated system, Edmolift’s team of experts can assist and guide. 

The company adds: “We work extensively with the automotive industry including Ford, GM, VW, Nissan, Audi, Honda, JLR, Toyota and Daimler Benz. Food and pharmaceuticals brands such as Nestle, PepsiCo, Unilever, Kellogg’s, Mondelez and Astra Zeneca, Roche, Eli Lilly, Pfizer, Merck and GlaxoSmithKline, as well as a huge variety of other industries. Standard options include conveyor beds and turntables as well as specially configured control systems and platforms.

“For lifts intended for intensive use we incorporate our heavy-duty package. This includes grease points in all links, an air-cooled hydraulic system, chromed axles and pins, steel running gear, reinforced platforms and scissor arms. We can provide continuously running motors, fast pumps and double acting cylinders.”

Edmolift has worked with the automation industry in the UK for 30 years and its scissor lift tables are installed within both simple and complex systems in all types of industries and locations. 

“It is important to us that we really understand your exact requirements, so we work tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of the job is fully understood and acknowledged by our specialist technical team. This process includes detailed drawings, electrical diagrams and loading information. Where possible scissor lift table test rigs are set up for inspection and sign off prior to manufacture.”

Automation scissor lift tables are available with lifting capacities to 10,000Kg, lift stroke to 6500mm and in a huge choice of standard and bespoke sizes which can be installed into all types of automated system.
