Biotech firm installs storage solution

All biomaterials, reagents and IVD kits developed and manufactured by Biokit must meet strict quality requirements and fully meet the particular needs of many different markets. This high quality requirement has led one of the leading biotech companies in Catalonia to AR Racking, the leading company in the European market for industrial storage systems, to carry out the installation of its new facilities in Lliçà de Munt, Barcelona.

AR Racking has installed a Longspan Shelving System (AR LS) resulting in an installation with 2,500 pallets. The Longspan Shelving System is the ideal solution for manually storing small to medium-size products. It is a very versatile racking system, adaptable to the Biokit loading unit making it easy to access the stored references in a direct, immediate and delicate way. This system of storage allows a direct access to all the unit loads stored, making it one of the systems most commonly installed in the warehouses of companies in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector.
