Fighting the good fight

For over 40 years, Translift Bendi have been waging a war on wasted storage space with the continual development and introduction of innovative products and solutions.

From the award winning Mini Bendi to the groundbreaking Bendi Order Picker, each product has been brought to market by listening to the needs of our customers and trade partners; and it was as a direct result of many similar discussions that led to the introduction of Bendi’s latest offerings – the B320 – flagship of the three-wheeled range, and not one, but two, modern and interesting websites – www.bendi.co.uk and www.translift-hubtex.co.uk.

The New B320 – Powerhouse of the Three-Wheel Range

Being first has its upside – understanding drive and balance allowed Bendi to patent the best drive systems all for different applications. Single direct front wheel drive allows the best possible traction in the most compact format for aisle widths whilst offering cost savings over rear wheel drive; and now with the launch of the B320 you can lift even more and higher.

With a rated lift capacity of 2000kgs, and lift height of up to 10m, the B320 is a high performance machine capable of working in aisles as small as 1.6m and with ample power for loading and unloading duties. With full AC control and motors, the new B320 offers increased efficiency through faster lift and lowering speeds. Other features of the B320 include:

• Bendi’s unique patented ‘over rotation system’ for a genuine 220° to aid safer, faster narrow aisle performance.

• Unique patented ‘Central Drive’ style.

• Most spacious Operators cab in class.

• Purpose built articulated mast with improved torsional rigidity for minimum mast deflection at height.

• Direct Through Drive: By using a direct reduction gearbox, total torque control is possible to give best traction of any front wheel drive articulated FLT. Use of a differential axle means traction control through AC technology is limited.

• The most robust articulation unit with a lifetime guarantee.

• Ease of maintenance – no reason to remove battery for any maintenance procedure.

Two new websites

After months of planning and development, Bendi have unveiled a new company website for its growing army of global customers, users and trade partners; and to compliment this, a new Translift Hubtex website has been developed to cater for the unprecedented UK interest in the new range of multidirectional forklifts. Both sites have been designed and built from the ground up after listening to the needs of potential visitors to the website, according to Bendi Managing Director, Simon Brown.

“Our first objective, when we set out to develop the new website, was once again to give people what they were looking for,” commented Simon. “It was important that we viewed the new website through our customers and trade partners eyes, so the obvious course of action was to ask them. The result is a website that is modern, mobile friendly, visually impressive and showcases the extensive range of products and services we at Bendi offer. From a personal point of view, it was also nice to take a walk down memory lane and look through some of the early Bendi adverts that we have used in the HISTORY section – www.bendi.co.uk/history.html.”

Each Bendi PRODUCT has its own section, complete with informative description, brochure download, unique video and a link to a case study or application; so rather than just read about a Bendi success, the visitor can actually see it in action.

In the MEDIA section, you will find a growing library of almost 20 videos, a gallery of images by product, all the downloads and a latest news section where the visitor can view and subscribe to our regular e-newsletters.

If more information is required, or people are not still not sure just how much a Bendi could benefit their business, they can either click on the VISTOR CENTRE section and arrange a visit to the UK Manufacturing facility in the West Midlands, or they can have a look at the WAREHOUSE DESIGN section; the Bendi team is always on hand to offer advice on racking and storage systems.
