IBCS has doubled turnover in the last three years
Industrial Battery and Charger Services Limited (IBCS), one of the UK’s largest independent supplier of industrial batteries and charger systems, and based in Rotherham has doubled turnover in the last three years by following a clear customer centric growth strategy.
A focus on the UK motive sector has paid dividends with major sales growth in its core range of products and aftermarket services. The success is based on building close business partnerships with its blue chip customer base throughout the UK.
In particular, this involves creating bespoke packages to meet each company’s individual needs. This agreement can include finance deals to spread cost, aid with cash flow and the company provides market leading warranty options on its products.
The company has also been running a new marketing campaign to press the message home with existing and new customers. This includes advertising in targeted professional titles, a new company brochure, updated website and taking a stand at this year’s IMHX exhibition at the NEC (13-16 September 2016).
IBCS managing director Jonathan Jones commented: "Our customer centric strategy has led to exceptional growth. Our focus on the motive power market in the materials handling sector means we don’t spread ourselves too thinly. We have partnerships in all types of industry and work with them to improve efficiency.
"We clearly show savings are made by advising on the best power package systems to use. In addition we constantly liaise with our product suppliers regarding new products and technologies so customers are aware of what is suitable for future development."
