Leading with service

The newly formed KION Baoli EMEA is promising a revolution in the logistics market, as it offers Chinese-made forklifts under the Kion Group umbrella, backed up with a stock and spare parts warehouse in Europe.

KION Baoli is an Asian manufacturer of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment which operates all over the world. Founded in 2003, the Baoli brand was acquired in 2009 by KION, the European market leader and the world's second largest manufacturer of material handling solutions. It is also famous for brands such as Linde, Still and Dematic. KION completely reorganised the KION Baoli production works, bringing it in line with modern standards: components, technologies, process engineering and production lines are all currently made in Germany. KION Baoli offers a complete range of forklift trucks and indoor machines: 3 and 4-wheels electric forklifts with capacities of 1.5 to 3.5 tons, internal combustion forklifts from 1.5 to 10.0 tons, pallet trucks and stackers.

“KION Baoli”, explains Francesco Pampuri, Head of Marketing KION Baoli EMEA, “is the perfect combination of the engineering and technology of a major global group and the pragmatism and attention to cost that is typical of products manufactured in the Far East. Our aim is to satisfy the needs of customers who are seeking quality and reliability, but without having to have particularly complex equipment.”

Founded in 2017, the new KION Baoli EMEA is a strong organisation which replaced and expanded the previous KION Baoli structure in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, currently covering 26 Countries but with the ambitious aim of covering 86 markets in the area in just a few years. KION Baoli EMEA, the Headquarters of which are in Italy, manages all the sales, after-sales and marketing aspects, providing a sound experience and a thorough know-how to its customers.

Emphasis on service

The feather in the cap for KION Baoli in the EMEA area is the service level: the company has a huge warehouse located in Italy, which acts both as the centralised distribution hub, with a stock of hundreds of forklifts ready for delivery, and as a spare parts area, which is said to be one of the largest in Europe with an area of more than 10,000 sq m. The availability of spare parts is guaranteed by the central warehouse in Italy and KION Baoli can rely on a network of dealers who are all carefully selected to provide high levels of sales & service support in the individual countries. KION Baoli EMEA Academy trains all level of dealers in order to guarantee a high level of service.

Giovanni Culici, Vice President of KION Baoli EMEA explains: “The UK market presents exceptional development prospects for a brand such as KION Baoli, which is the first to be able to combine low prices, quality, reliability and high levels of service. In this context, KION Baoli EMEA signals a turning point for the market: no other manufacturer of forklift trucks from the Far East can count, in this market, on a sound and well organised structure to carry out, not merely market development, but also guarantee a high level of service. Thanks to this structure, we will have a large stock of forklifts ready for delivery, spare parts available in 48 hours and direct training of maintenance personnel. An absolute guarantee both for our dealers and for our customers.”
