Rapid action door

International waste-to-product business Shanks approached Stanair for a replacement rapid action door for its Aylesbury distribution depot.

A Stanair surveyor visited facilities manager Steve Young and his team to evaluate the area in which the door was required and after assessing the application, recommended a Rapid Action Door from Stanair’s Nergecco range. The doors are suitable for use on busy doorways with an opening and closing at a rate of 1 metre per second these doors, with photocells to prevent closure if obstructed ensure optimal operation and safety.

“We are really pleased with our new Rapid Action Door," says Steve Young. “It gets used over 50 times a day and opens and closes at the perfect speed to allow our trucks in and out without slowing down the operation.
