NAEKO Logistics, a specialised logistics services company focused on offering value-added solutions, has expanded its logistics facilities and warehouses in San Boi de Llobregat in Barcelona to continue offering global solutions to the growing demands of international trade.
NAEKO Logistics has relied on AR Racking – an industrial storage specialist – for advice on the design and installation of its new warehouse.
The commitment of NAEKO Logistics to offer integral solutions for its customers has led the company to the recent expansion of one of its 16 warehouses in Sant Boi de Llobregat. AR Racking has just installed an Adjustable Pallet Racking system in 3.300 sq m of the 118.000 sq m of NAEKO’s warehouse. The Adjustable Pallet Racking system is highly versatile, given its adaptability to any type of unit load or forklift truck and selective, as it allows immediate access to all unit loads and/or references stored. This versatility of the system installed by AR Racking adapts to the logistic requirements of NAEKO Logistics’ customers.
This installation has provided the logistics operator with an extra capacity of more than 2,600 1500 x 1140mm pallets. These pallets have a special size due to their bottom, so it has been necessary to reinforce the different levels with special support cross-beams.
