Barberry wins consent for Birmingham warehouse
Commercial property developer and investor Barberry Industrial has secured planning consent for a £17 million ‘best-in-class’ industrial and logistics warehouse in Birmingham, West Midlands.

THE FACILITY totaling 77,750 ft2 will be built on the last available plot at Quinton Business Park located off Junction 3 of the M5 motorway.
The property will have 65,675 ft2 of warehouse space with 12.5 m eaves, six dock (including two double height) and four level access doors, a 40m yard as well as 10,875 ft2 of Gared A two storey offices as well as 1,200 ft2 welfare space on the ground floor.
It will be built to achieve a minimum BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A+ accreditation and will include electric vehicle charging points, solar panels, green initiatives and wildlife walks around the site.
The speculative construction of the new unit – known as Barberry Midbox 78 – is expected to commence later this year and it will be available to let or for sale.
Savills and M1 Agency are the retained agents acting for Barberry.
Barberry has a 2.6 million sq ft industrial/logistics development pipeline with a Gross Development Value of more than £430 million.
