Chancerygate plans new midbox scheme for Salford
Chancerygate and CBRE Investment Management (IM) have submitted plans for a new approx. 100,000 ft2 midbox industrial scheme in Salford in the Northwest.

THE DEVELOPMENT on an 11-acre site next door to the Salford Community Stadium will see the construction of two blocks totalling 99,197 ft2 (GIA) with nine units from 5,565 ft2 to 23,498 ft2.
The planning documentation describes the properties as being highly sustainable targetting BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A rating.
CBRE Investment management and Chancerygate have partnered on a number of projects and are currently progressing work on a new 93,000 ft2 Grade A urban logistics development scheme in Croydon in the Southeast.
Called The Works the development will comprise 15 leasehold units ranging from 2,000 ft2 to 16,000 ft2 with the option to combine units. It is targeting a BREEAM accreditation of Excellent and for all units to achieve an EPC A+ rating as a minimum.
The scheme is being delivered by Chancerygate and CBRE IM on behalf of a fund sponsored by the firm.
Chancerygate development director, Tom Faulkner, said: “There’s strong demand for high quality, sustainable urban logistics accommodation within Croydon and the South London area. The Works is the first multi-unit urban logistics scheme to developed in Croydon for 10 years targeting SMEs.
