Crown appoints Simon Emery as Director Retail Operations EMEA
On July 1, 2013, Simon Emery was appointed to the position of Director Retail Operations EMEA at Crown.
In his new role, he will be in charge of all the activities of Crown subsidiaries and independent Crown dealerships in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). After relocating to Crown’s European head office in Munich, he will report directly to Ken Dufford, Vice President Europe at Crown Equipment Corporation.
Emery brings years of professional experience to his new job. He has worked for Crown in a variety of different roles, including warehouse management, then as Regional Manager in Dubai, subsequently as Manager Dealer Operations in Munich, and most recently as Managing Director of Crown Lift Trucks UK.
His successor in the UK is Steve Stewart (51) who, like Emery, can draw on many years of experience in the industry, most recently as Director of Crown’s branch operations in Australia.
