Leading HVAC specialist, Jet Environmental, has appointed Chris Ludwig as its new technical manager.

Leading HVAC specialist, Jet Environmental, has appointed Chris Ludwig as its new technical manager.

Bringing nearly 25 years of extensive experience in the HVAC industry, Chris will help further strengthen Jet Environmental’s expertise in innovative and sustainable design. His appointment started on 2 January.

With a mechanical engineering degree and a career spanning roles at Daikin UK and a contractor specialising in renewables and HVAC design, Chris has a proven track record in after-sales technical engineering, pre-sales technical applications, and designing energy-efficient systems. Reporting to technical director, Ivan Garcia, he will lead the design of technically compliant HVAC systems for the warehousing sector, integrating Jet Environmental’s bespoke products with third-party equipment.

Commenting on his role, Chris said: “What attracted me to Jet Environmental is their niche expertise in HVAC solutions for large-scale industrial buildings. The decarbonisation of such facilities has the potential to significantly impact environmental targets. Whether it’s through energy-saving measures that reduce a client’s carbon footprint or meeting legal requirements like planning regulations or BREEAM standards, I’m excited to contribute to a greener future.”

Chris’s responsibilities will include thermal modelling, plant design and selection, ductwork and pipework system design, plus control systems integration. His goal is to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of HVAC solutions while delivering value to clients.
