Key hire boosts Impact’s credentials in heavy lifting sector
After introducing Konecranes, MAFI and Carer products to its range earlier this year, Impact Handling has further strengthened its focus on the heavy-duty truck sector by making a senior appointment to lead its specialist division.
Nigel Richardson joins the company as Divisional Sales Manager, bringing more than 28 years’ experience, including 18 years at Linde most recently as Sales Development Manager – Heavy Trucks for the UK, Ireland and Nordic regions. Prior to this he held a number of sales-related roles within Boss Materials Handling.
Richardson says: “After adding a truly impressive selection of machines to its portfolio Impact Handling is becoming a major player in this sector and I am excited about developing its potential fully in the coming months.”
Impact Handling and its UK-wide network of strategic dealer partners is supplying customers with the full range of Konecranes trucks, including specialist port-based machines with lifting capacities of up to 80 tonnes; MAFI trucks, including distribution tractors and RoRo tractors; and Carer’s electric forklifts, ranging between six and 45 tonnes.
