Potter Logistics grows turnover by 8% to £24m
The business posted a profit before tax of £1,731,000.
This is the sixth consecutive year that the logistics, property and waste management group has delivered improved profits.
Potter continued its recent trend of investment with expenditure of £1.4m on their fleet and £900,000 on warehouse improvements including finalising the lease of a new Knowsley based warehouse, Charley Wood Point.
Potter Logistics MD Matthew Lamb said: “2013-14 was another excellent year for the business. Winning awards for both the company and individuals were particular highlights. This year also saw the re-negotiation of key contracts as well as gaining new clients across all the distribution centres.
“2014-15 is set to be an exciting time as we launch our 50th anniversary celebrations in late 2014, concluding with a celebratory event in September 2015 for staff, customers and suppliers.”
