Prologis gets DIRFT plot oven ready
Prologis is progressing a mega shed through reserved matters planning at its RFI DIRFT III scheme in the East Midlands to get it oven-ready for potential occupiers.

By Liza Helps, Property Editor, Logistics Matters
THE MEGA shed will total some 614,134 ft2 (GIA) with 589,726 ft2 of cross docked warehouse space served by 82 dock, eight high shelter and six level access doors with 18m eaves. There will be 189 HGV spaces and there is the potential for a fuel island and vehicle wash at a later date. There is car parking for 475 vehicles with separate entrances for cars and HGVs.
There will be two, two-storey hub offices on each side of the building of 6,351 ft2 and a two-storey triple aspect Grade A office positioned to the southwest of the building boasting a double height reception and landscaped roof terrace.
The property, to be built on Plot One Zone F of the scheme, is targeting net zero in construction as well as a BREEAM Outstanding and EPC A + rating.
Once planning is received the developer will have the option of pressing ahead with a speculative scheme or else waiting for an occupier in the knowledge that the facility could go vertical within weeks of contracts being signed.
Letting agents at RFI DIRFT are Savills and JLL.
