Whittan Group completes Apex Linvar acquisition
The acquisition of Apex Linvar was completed on Friday 22 January 2016, following clearance by the Competition and Markets Authority earlier in the month.
The initial acquisition agreement was made in November.
As a result of the acquisition there will be some immediate Whittan Group senior management changes. Andrew Butler, currently Chief Executive, becomes Chairman of the Board of the enlarged group and Ian Smith, currently Managing Director of Apex Linvar, becomes Whittan Group Chief Executive.
