Yusen Logistics Russia gains aftermarket warehousing contract

Yusen Logistics Russia has been awarded a contract to provide warehousing and product preparation services for global automotive technology, systems and parts provider, DENSO Russia.

The new contract involves the storage and preparation of over two million automotive aftermarket products per annum, based at Yusen Logistics’ central warehouse in Moscow.

The solution includes enhanced space utilisation with mezzanine racking and integrated WMi technology for optimised service quality and increased productivity.

 Yusen Logistics Russia is supporting DENSO Russia LLC with the following service elements: 

Intake and receipt of inbound volumes 

Picking and packaging of 2,000 order lines 

1,000 m² storage capacity 

Quality checking services

Yusen Logistics’ 19,659 m² Moscow warehouse facility, ideally located for goods being delivered to Central Russia from both the European Union and the Far East, offers an optimum solution for DENSO Russia. Its close proximity to Domoedovo airport (DME) and two of the country’s major motorways mean that DENSO Russia LLC’s extensive customer and supplier network are within easy reach no matter where they’re based.
