William Sinclair Horticulture, a
leading UK supplier of horticultural
products including composts, soil
conditioners and aggregates, has
awarded CHEP a three-year contract
worth approximately £800,000 a
year.
CHEP has been working with William Sinclair for over 15 years with a rolling annual contract and this is the first time that a three-year deal has been agreed.
From its depots in Lincoln and Carlisle,William Sinclair uses CHEP pallets to deliver to over 3,000 customers including national accounts.
Jonathan Ford, purchasing manager at William Sinclair confirmed that CHEP had been re-appointed as its proposal had included opportunities to maximise efficiencies, saying "our delivery trends are very seasonal.
Despatch is compressed into a five month period from February to June.
