A list of lots for the IMHX 2010 Help for Heroes Charity Auction has been drawn up, offering an array of prizes for those attending the IMHX Charity Dinner on Thursday 18th November.
A list of lots for the IMHX 2010 Help for Heroes Charity Auction has been drawn up, offering an array of prizes for those attending the IMHX Charity Dinner on Thursday 18th November.
The provisional list of donations is as follows:
• Rugby Ball - Signed by former France and Wasps captain, Raphaël Ibañez. Donated by Quartz Publishing & Exhibitions Ltd.
• Exclusive Bespoke Hamper - Valued at £200, this hamper has been put together exclusively for this auction, and will contain handmade food from within the UK and a selection of wines from small, independent producers from around the world. Donated by Field Brothers of Beckbury.
• A pair of tickets for the 2011 British Grand Prix - The Platinum tickets are for a covered grandstand, providing excellent prolonged views of the cars through a series of corners - and will give you access to the event for the whole weekend, as well as free parking. Donated by Shell Gas (LPG).
• 3D Digital Camera - The latest Fujifilm Finepix REAL 3D W3 10 megapixel top-of-the-range model, which retails at £329 - Donated by Fujifilm, guests of Pensord.
• Amazon Kindle 2 ebook reader - Valued at £109, the Kindle offers you the chance to read your chosen 'books' at a fraction of the price of the printed version. Donated by ShD magazine.
• Signed Rugby Shirt - An authentic rugby shirt signed by the current Harlequins team, which includes current England Elite Squad players Danny Care and Nick Easter. Donated by Quartz Publishing & Exhibitions Ltd.
• Signed Football - A leather ball signed by former England greats Bryan Robson, OBE and Jack Charlton, OBE. Donated by BPL Business Media Ltd.
• A Pair of Signed Photographs - One signed by current Birmingham City manager Alex McLeish and the other by goalkeeper Ben Foster, who has been capped four times by England. Donated by Birmingham City Football Club.
• Four Ball Golf - A round of golf at the Arden course, an acclaimed course named in England's top 100. Donated by the Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel.
Those not attending the dinner will still be able to take part in the auction with the help of the editor of ShD magazine, Peter MacLeod, who will place the bid on their behalf.
Bidders should send him an email and indicate the maximum amount prepared to bid by 4pm on Thursday 18th November. If desired, bids will be treated in strictest confidence.
