Reusable packaging manufacturer Loadhog recently celebrated the visit of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh to officially open Hog Works, Loadhog's new Sheffield home, which completes the Gripple Group's latest expansion program

Reusable packaging manufacturer Loadhog recently celebrated the visit of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh to officially open Hog Works, Loadhog's new Sheffield home, which completes the Gripple Group's latest expansion programme.

Following comprehensive redevelopment to restore the 12,000 sq m building to its former glory,Hog Works provides 250 per cent more space for Loadhog, amalgamating the company's administrative, production and hi-tech washing activities under one roof and housing an additional new 1,700 tonne injection moulding machine. The facility also accommodates the group's ideas and innovations centre, which incorporates the innovative incubator, Incub. Hugh Facey, Gripple chairman and Loadhog's executive chairman, says: "The Duke of Edinburgh's visit was a tremendous honour for both companies. I think it acknowledges all that we have achieved in Sheffield and reflects the tremendous effort and commitment of our employees."
