Swisslog will present its portfolio of light goods subsystems, pallet conveyance and storage technologies at CeMat.
As well as application scenarios for their various technologies, Swisslog will demonstrate practical examples in the food and beverage, retail and pharmaceutical industries.
Swisslog has followed a consistent strategy of offering customers a complete range of logistic solutions. As a general contractor with its own construction capabilities, Swisslog develops and implements complex, turn-key logistic systems, using its own warehouse management and automation software. Swisslog can also take responsibility for servicing, modernising and expanding customer sites - often over the entire life-cycle of a facility.
With its Tornado miniload crane, QuickMove conveyor system, AutoStore item pick storage system (singled out at LogiMAT 2011 as the best product in the 'Procurement, handling, storage' category) and the recently introduced SmartCarrier transport and storage solution, Swisslog now has the most comprehensive range of technologies for light goods logistics applications.
This technology offering is supplemented by its own suite of software warehouse management products, material flow and control systems, including visualisation which can be configured on a project specific basis.
Swisslog is also setting the standards in terms of energy efficiency. Its recently introduced GreenLog standard guarantees that energy consumption for all Swisslog systems and sub-systems are optimally reduced.
In particular, thanks to their consistently lightweight construction, energy recovery and new control concepts and motors, the energy requirements for Swisslog's stacker cranes and conveyor devices have been substantially lowered.
Visitors to the exhibition can find more details of all Swisslog's products and industry solutions on the Swisslog stand (Hall 27, Stand D29).
