Jungheinrich will present a number of innovative products, services and system solutions at the forthcoming CeMAT 2011 exhibition in Hannover.
Things to look out for include a warehouse navigation system that works in wide aisles. The wide-aisle system employs a proprietary tracking system which directs the forklifts around the distribution centre in the most time efficient and environmentally conscious way.
In addition, the Hamburg-based company is premiering its own driverless transport system — the Auto Pallet Mover (APM). This innovative truck solution is already in operation at a number of facilities. The APM moves around the warehouse independently. It is ideally suited for handling repetitive transport tasks within the warehouse and can be operated as a stand-alone solution or integrated and operated as part of the warehouse management system.
A new proprietary fleet management system will also be shown. Designated ISM Online, the programme manages, analyses and optimises truck fleets irrespective of their size and complexity. With the development of this tool, Jungheinrich not only gives operators the means for increased transparency and safety in their fleets, but also the ability to operate their fleets more efficiently at a number of different sites — even internationally.
The ERCÂ 212/214/216 series electric pedestrian stacker is another fresh product for CeMAT 2011. This truck is a combination of manoeuvrable pedestrian pallet truck and fast, safe and comfortable stand-on truck. The platform for this new model has been completely redesigned.
A new electric pedestrian straddle arm stacker will also be unveiled. The Series 1 EJCÂ B has been specially designed for the flexible handling of unusually shaped loads as well as perimeter based pallets and features widened support arms and forged forks that can be lowered down to the floor allow the truck to go underneath the load for pick-up.
In addition to all this Jungheinrich will also announce a range of new reach trucks, electric stackers and diesel and LPG powered counterbalanced trucks.
Craig Johnson, marketing manager, Jungheinrich UK, said: “CeMAT is an important launch for a host of exciting new products which have been in development for a number of years.
"The Jungheinrich stand at CeMAT is always one of the highlights of the show and we look forward to welcoming visitors from around the world this year.â€
