Getting a grip

Global tool manufacturer Sandvik Coromant has installed black Vynagrip matting with yellow edging in its Cirencester works (UK).

Manufactured by Plastic Extruders, the matting provides employees working in the large production areas with a safe and slip resistant surface underfoot.

Vynagrip covers the factory floor with its yellow edging clearly delineating the safe walkway. The matting was chosen for this application because it can be loose laid and contours over rough and uneven floors which is ideal where floor levels change, slope or cross thresholds.
