Automation for frozen food

Publix Super Markets has commissioned Swisslog to design and implement the automation for a new distribution centre. Founded in 1930 with its headquarters in Lakeland, Florida, Publix Super Markets is the largest and fastest-growing employee owned supermarket chain in the US.

The project will provide a state of the art automated frozen food storage and distribution facility, utilising the latest AS/RS and order fulfilment technology from Swisslog. It will ensure Publix can grow and continue to provide high levels of customer service in an efficient manner.
