Dynamic storage solution

To support growing business, Red Bull placed a repeat order for Interroll dynamic storage technology to be installed in a new distribution centre to support 12,670 pallet positions. The company was seeking a solution to add to and maximise the capacity of the distribution centre with the most suitable system for 1000mm wide x 1200mm deep x 1300mm high wooden pallets weighing up to 1000kg.

The new distribution centre would have to efficiently handle peak volumes of throughput, reduce travel distances and the number of forklift trucks. In addition, the installation needed to protect against damage through forklift truck operation and ensure a rapid return on investment.

The new distribution centre provides safe and space-saving pallet handling with a total of 12,670 pallet positions for FIFO (first in, first out) pallet flow storage and LIFO (last in, first out) cart pushback storage.
