GNB Industrial Power, a
division of Exide
Technologies, has been
awarded its second
consecutive "Tesco Value
Award" in
recognition of its
continued support
and expert assistance
to Tesco's
Distribution teams
nationwide.
Tesco presents its "Tesco Value Award" to suppliers that have provided exceptional service. The recipient is chosen by representatives from Tesco's distribution centres who nominate a supplier they believe deserves the accolade. GNB Industrial Power's Service Team, which supplies Tesco with forklift truck batteries and chargers, recently received 100 percent positive feedback from centres across the country for the support it provides.
As well as providing the equipment needed to ensure the distribution centres can work effectively and efficiently, the GNB Service Team visits every Tesco dc each week to identify any potential problems before they occur. This pro-active approach enables the Service Team to resolve any issues before they develop into anything more serious.
"This award has been presented to the GNB Service Team for providing unsurpassed support to our logistics operations network." says James Fenton, Tesco's UK maintenance manager network development.
