Pallet producer and pallet pooling
supplier, FHG, has won a 'Green'
award for its sustainable pallets from
De Telegraaf in the Netherlands. The
pallet manufacturer was ranked third
in the annual 'greenest company in the
Netherlands' awards, decided by a
judging panel from De Telegraaf's Top
100 Green Companies.
Ingrid Faber, CEO of FHG, said: "This prize is a huge honour for our company. We feel it is important to make a contribution to society via sustainable pallets and a socially responsible production process." FHG says when a pallet reaches the end of its life cycle, the wood is used for other purposes such as chipboard production, biomass or bio-energy generation; meaning the pallet manufacturer creates a continuous loop in its pallet-pooling activities.
