pedestrian power pallet trucks from Mitsubishi
Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks has created a new series of compact pedestrian power pallet trucks, specifically designed to deliver continuous productivity - even in harsh environments.
The water-resistant design of the PREMIA ES includes a sealed chassis, which offers protection to key components against water, dirt, dust and other particles, allowing for outdoor operation in all weather.
For maximum reliability - even in moist conditions - the truck's electronic system also features waterproofed components.
Specially developed for hard-wearing applications, the PREMIA is said to possess high stability and marketleading lift height of 135mm, allows easy handling on steep gradients and uneven surfaces - even with damaged pallets.
The truck's oil-filled transmission is shock resistant to prevent damage caused by rough conditions and tough treatment.
Its robust fork design, with a welded construction and rounded tips for effortless pallet entry, provides optimum strength and extra durability.
With further cost savings in mind for the truck owner, the battery compartment has been designed for maximum compatibility with customers' existing DIN and BS size batteries.
Pointing to research which proves that moving heavy loads with a hand pallet truck places users at risk of injuries to the back and spine, Mitsubishi is keen to encourage employers to upgrade to powered models.
PREMIA operators have a choice of two performance modes - as standard - which are accessible by key switch, to enhance safety, energy efficiency and productivity.
The truck has a crossbar design, which deflects obstacles away from the tiller arm and the operator's hand. There is a model to suit every application and budget. Each can be tailored to customer needs with a range of options including a multifunctional display, with hour meter, and large ergonomic levers which are easy to use even when wearing gloves.
