CSafe and Kuehne + Nagel have announced the signing of a Master Lease Agreement to complement and enhance Kuehne + Nagel's KN PharmaChain supply chain service developed specifically for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. The agreement adds the best in class CSafe RKN to Kuehne + Nagel's healthcare product portfolio.

KN PharmaChain provides a choice for critical general cargo as well as temperature sensitive shipments. In order to best respond to all shipment requirements, KN PharmaChain offers four service levels depending on the grade of specific temperature control requirements and special handling demands. The KN PharmaChain network comprises strategically designated, GXP compliant (Best Practice) stations around the world.

Other features include full risk assessments of carrier partners and trade lanes, a dedicated SOP for every shipment, a CareTeam that monitors and actions 24/7/365, an electronic alert system and the optional real-time temperature transmission enroute into the company's online tracking tool KN Login, using wireless sensors.

The CSafe RKN addition enhances the service level of active temperature controlled air cargo containers, significantly delivering superior reliability and quality to customers.
