The Mini RayTemp from Electronic
Temperature Instruments (ETI) is a
compact, lightweight and low cost
non-contact infrared thermometer.
The company says "simply aim and pull the trigger to display the temperature of the item being measured".
The thermometer measures temperature over the range of -50 to 330 deg C. It has an assured accuracy of plus or minus 2 deg C over the range of 0 to 330 deg C. In the range of -50 to 0 deg C accuracy is plus or minus 4 deg C.
The Mini RayTemp has a clear, easy to read LCD display with low battery, backlight indication and an auto-power off facility that turns the instrument off after 10 seconds, maximising battery life. This thermometer is ideal for numerous temperature measurement applications where contact with the item to be measured is an issue.
The thermometer also incorporates laser dot alignment as standard, to assist in pin-pointing the area of measurement. The unit incorporates a 12:1 optic ratio (target distance/diameter ratio) and a fixed emissivity of 0.95 making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
The Mini RayTemp infrared thermometers are economically priced at £28 each inclusive of VAT and carriage.
Worthing-based ETI thermometers is the UK's largest digital thermometer manufacturer, producing infrared & digital thermometers, moisture meters, pressure meters and other related instruments.
