No Limit goes live
18 June 2013
Polish third party logistics operator No Limit goes live with a new automated sortation system from SDI Group at its multi-client distribution centre near Warsaw.
Phase 1 of a new sortation system is now fully operational and sorting 5000 items per hour at No Limit’s 9,000 square metre Warsaw Distribution Centre (DC). This first step into automated materials handling for the leading Polish third party logistics operator was successfully installed by SDI Group, working in close partnership with No Limit. SDI also installed the associated controls and software, and trained staff at the facility to operate the system.
The sortation system is based around SDI’s PTU sorter, which can handle a broad array of products - from apparel to shoe boxes to small electronic devices. This has given No Limit a competitive edge through being able to offer an enhanced, faster and more accurate service to its retail clients.
