Take control
19 June 2013
Designed to give Hiab Multilift users maximum uptime as well as durability, comfort and safety, Hiab has introduced the Second-Generation Control System (2GCS). The PLC operating system enables Hiab to constantly develop and upgrade the system with new features and benefits.

At the heart of the system is the Second Generation Cab Controller used to operate the hooklift. All the main movements of the hooklift can be controlled with a multiple-position, highly responsive joystick by simply selecting one of the three available positions with just one finger.
A package of features provides faster hooklift operations, shorter standstills and more trips per day. In addition to the time saving, lower carbon emissions and reduced fuel consumption are possible.
