Doosan appoints Filtermech as regional dealer
23 September 2013
Doosan Industrial Vehicle UK has appointed Filtermech Materials Handling as its new authorised forklift truck dealer for North East and West Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, replacing Delta Hire as the principal Doosan dealer for the region.
Wakefield-based Filtermech will offer new and used Doosan forklifts for sale and rental, while also providing all servicing, warranty and materials handling advice.
Tim Waples, Director of Doosan Industrial Vehicle UK, said: "The appointment of Filtermech gives the region a service experience to match the reliability and ease-of-use of Doosan products, which boasts among the lowest total cost of ownership of any lift truck brand.
"Our extensive nationwide dealer network offers a comprehensive and highly-responsive service covering sales, spares and suppor tfor owners and users of Doosan lift trucks.
"We already enjoy strong sales across many industries in these parts of Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, including the vibrant industrial and agricultural sectors that are essential to the area’s heritage. We believe Filtermech is the perfect partner to develop and grow our relationships with local businesses even further.”
Filtermech Materials Handling is a sister company to Filtermech Plant Sales, an established dealer of heavy equipment, including, for the last 12 years, Doosan construction equipment. Both companies benefit from being part of the £80m Corp Acq Plc group, but have standalone sales and service teams.
Gary Hawkhead, Sales Director of Filtermech Materials Handling, said: "We are delighted Doosan has chosen us to be an official dealer of their impressive lift truck range. We fully intend to replicate the successful and long-standing association our sister company has enjoyed with Doosan and the customer satisfaction levels that it has delivered.”
