New MD appointed at Linde Castle
28 August 2014
County Durham-based Linde Castle, part of Linde Material Handling (UK), has appointed a new managing director.
Based at Linde Castle’s Newton Aycliffe office, Hugh Cole brings with him over 20 years’ experience in multi-site service businesses having previously worked as Fleet Services Director at Balfour Beatty. Hugh started his career in the underground coal mining industry in south Wales and Australia before taking up a number of senior management positions in the car hire, powered access platforms and refrigeration service industries.
In his new role, Hugh will use his considerable management experience to further develop and grow the Linde Castle business.
Hugh said: "I am looking forward to the opportunity to head up the Linde Castle operation here in County Durham. Working closely with the management team, I intend to build on the company’s reputation for excellence and its commitment to providing quality products and service to customers across the north east.”
John McMaster, who had previously been managing both Linde Jewsbury and Linde Castle, will now concentrate on developing the Linde Jewsbury business in Castleford, West Yorkshire.
